Never send us client documents, client names, case captions or other confidential facts. Describe the problem instead: what you clicked, the exact message on screen, and the version numbers.
Write to us
Email [email protected] with “SupraDraft” in the subject. We read every message and answer as soon as we can. Please include:
- the SupraDraft version shown at the top of the SupraDraft window;
- your Windows version (Settings › System › About);
- what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead, with the exact wording of any message.
If an error message tells you where supradraft.log is, you may attach that file, but open it in Notepad first. It records what the program did, not what your documents say, but it can contain file and folder names, which may include a client’s or a case’s name. Delete any such line before you send it.
Your license and the free trial
How does the free trial start?
The first time SupraDraft starts with an internet connection, a 30-day free trial begins. There is no form and no card. Each computer gets one trial. Without a connection, SupraDraft waits and tries again every few minutes.
How do I buy and enter a license?
Choose Buy in SupraDraft, or buy from the SupraDraft page. Rabbit Hole Technologies, LLC is the seller, and Stripe processes the payment. The license key arrives by email at the address you gave at checkout. In SupraDraft, open Tools › License…, paste the key, choose Use this key, and SupraDraft confirms it’s licensed on this computer.
Can I use one key on two computers?
Yes. One key works on two computers at a time. To move it, open the License window on the computer you are leaving, choose Remove this computer, then enter the key on the new one. If the old computer is gone or will not start, choose Remove other computers on the new one. A removed computer stops working at its next license check; to use SupraDraft there again, enter the key on it.
Removing frees the place at once for up to three computers a year; after that, a removed computer keeps its place until its current license runs out (at most 30 days) — write to us if you need it sooner. Reinstalling SupraDraft on the same computer does not use up a place, but uninstalling removes the key from that computer, so enter it again after you reinstall.
Does SupraDraft work offline?
Yes, for up to 30 days at a time. SupraDraft needs an internet connection to start the trial and to confirm your license at least once every 30 days; when it’s online it renews quietly about once a week. You can also ask it to check now from its license window.
Our firewall blocks it. What should IT allow?
SupraDraft’s license check goes to license.rabbitholetechnologies.ai on port 443 (HTTPS). That is its only internet connection. Ask IT to allow it; until then SupraDraft can’t start the trial or confirm a license.
SupraDraft says my key is already in use on two computers.
Each key works on two computers at a time. Choose Remove this computer on one you no longer need, or Remove other computers on the one you’re using, then enter the key again.
SupraDraft says it can’t confirm my license.
It couldn’t reach the license server, usually because the computer is offline or a firewall is in the way. Nothing stops working until 30 days have passed since the last confirmation; connect to the internet and it catches up on its own.
My license key stopped working.
A license key can be switched off; the license agreement says when. Each computer using it then stops making new documents at its next license check and lets go of the key, and everything you already made still opens. If the key is switched on again, enter the same key again on each computer that let go of it: it takes back that computer’s own place. What happens when the trial ends?
SupraDraft stops making new documents. Everything you already made still opens, and Buy and the License window are one click away.
I lost the email with my license key.
Write to [email protected] with the email address you used at checkout, and we’ll send the same key again. The key email comes from [email protected], so check your spam or junk folder first.
Common questions
Where are my documents?
In Documents\SupraDraft, one folder per case under cases; the finished documents are in each case’s out folder. The Folder button at the top of the SupraDraft window opens it. If you set an output folder in SupraDraft, a copy of each finished document is saved there too.
Open says no app on this PC opens .docx files.
SupraDraft writes Word documents and hands them to whichever app Windows uses for .docx files. Install Microsoft Word or another app that edits .docx files, or use Folder to find the document and open it yourself.
It opened a read-only copy because the folder path is too long for Word.
Word cannot open a file whose full folder path is too long, so SupraDraft opened a read-only copy instead. Use Save As in Word to keep your changes, or use Folder to find the original.
A scanned PDF, or a PDF with a nearly blank page, is refused, or it says Windows has no text recognition.
SupraDraft reads scanned pages, and any nearly blank page in a PDF, with the text recognition built into Windows, which comes with the English language pack. Add English in Settings › Time & language › Language & region, or save the document as a Word file and use that instead (for a scanned PDF, a PDF with a text layer also works).
SupraDraft says it needs the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime.
SupraDraft draws its window with WebView2, which Windows 11 and current Windows 10 already include. If yours is missing, install the Evergreen runtime from Microsoft’s WebView2 page and start SupraDraft again. SupraDraft never downloads it for you.
Which courts does it work with?
Any U.S. court. Pick a built-in court profile in the case form; or choose Custom court there and describe your court once (its name, the lines at the top of its caption, the rows beside the caption, and whether it uses line-numbered pleading paper or a plain caption); or upload your own blank pleading paper under Master Exemplar in the Tools panel.
Will it write my responses or objections?
No, by design. SupraDraft sets up the caption, the paper, the quoted requests, the numbering, the signature and the certificate, and leaves every response, objection, allegation and argument blank for the lawyer to write.
How do I uninstall it?
Remove it like any Store app, in Settings › Apps. Windows also removes SupraDraft’s private app-data folder (the log, the license file and the window’s browser profile). Your Documents\SupraDraft folder stays; delete it yourself if you want it gone. If you are moving to another computer, choose Remove this computer in the License window before you uninstall, so the key’s place is free for the new one.
