What it never does
Yours to answer.
It never writes the answer. SupraDraft does not write responses, objections, allegations or argument. What to say is the lawyer’s call. Anything it can’t fill from what you gave it is left as a marked fill-in — never guessed.
What it sets up
The mechanical half.
Give it the papers that were served and tell it who you are once. It builds the document on your court’s paper, with an empty space under each heading for the lawyer to write in.
- Answer to a complaint
One numbered response slot for each paragraph of the complaint, your affirmative defenses copied word for word and in order from an Answer you filed before, and the prayer for relief.
- Complaint
Parties, jurisdiction and venue, general allegations and one to ten causes of action — or the headings and cause-of-action titles of a complaint you filed before — each with numbered allegation slots left blank for you, the prayer for relief, and a jury demand, verification and exhibit list when you want them.
- Discovery responses
Responses to interrogatories, requests for production and requests for admission: every served request carried over and counted, with an empty response under each.

It starts from what was served.
Drop in the complaint or the served set and SupraDraft reads the court, the case number, the parties and counsel into the case form. It marks each field with where it came from, and leaves every field for you to check before you save.
It reads Word documents, text PDFs and scanned PDFs, using the text recognition built into Windows, and asks you to check anything it read from a scan against the paper.

Pick a built-in court profile. Or describe your court once — its name, the lines at the top of its caption, the rows beside the caption, and whether it uses line-numbered pleading paper — or give SupraDraft your own blank pleading paper and it works on that.
Finished documents open in your default word processor and live in one folder per case.

Served papers often arrive as scans. SupraDraft reads them on your computer with the text recognition built into Windows, run through our own reading pipeline, and nothing is sent to an online service.

What lawyers ask first.
Where do I buy it?
Right here. Buy takes you to our secure checkout, processed by Stripe, and your license key arrives by email. The Microsoft Store is only where you download SupraDraft and get its free updates — nothing is sold there.
Does SupraDraft write responses or objections?
No, by design. It sets up the caption, the paper, the quoted requests, the numbering, the signature and the certificate, and leaves every response, objection, allegation and argument blank for the lawyer to write.
Does it use AI?
No. This edition of SupraDraft has no AI model in it. SupraDraft AI, a separate product, is in development.
Which courts does it work with?
Any U.S. court: a built-in court profile, a court you describe once, or your own blank pleading paper.
What does the license check send?
The product name, the app version, a one-way code for the computer and, once you enter it, your license key, marked when you have just typed it (and, for Remove this computer or Remove other computers, which one you chose). Never a document, a case, a firm, a name, a file name or how you use it. The privacy policy has the whole list.
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing held hostage. Everything you already made still opens. New documents need a license, and Buy and the License window are one click away.
Can I use it on more than one computer?
Yes. One license works on two computers at a time, and moves between them from SupraDraft’s License window: Remove this computer on the one you’re leaving, or Remove other computers if the old one is gone. The support page has the details.
What do I need to run it?
An internet connection to start the trial, to activate a key, and at least once every 30 days to confirm the license; Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) or Windows 11, on an Intel or AMD processor with 4 GB of memory — Arm-based PCs, such as Snapdragon laptops, are not supported; Microsoft Word or another app that opens .docx files; and the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime, which Windows 11 and current Windows 10 already include. Where are my documents?
On your computer, in Documents\SupraDraft, one folder per case. They are ordinary Word files. If you set an output folder, a copy goes there too. If Windows backs up your Documents folder to OneDrive, or another service syncs it, that service copies these files like any other document; SupraDraft itself uploads nothing.
How do updates work?
Through the Microsoft Store, free, for as long as we publish SupraDraft.
